CRISP-Reasearchers take over important roles in the organization of iPAT and CyberTIM

This years International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security, (ARES) 2018 and the conference accompanying workshops, CRISP researchers hold several important position and functions.

iPAT 2018
Prof. Max Mühlhäuser is program chair of the „1st Interdisciplinary Workshop on Privacy and Trust, (iPAT2018)“. The organizing committee consists of researchers from CRISP and KASTEL. Other CRISP researchers are members of the program committee as well as the junior program committee. The interdisciplinary worshop examines different aspects of privacy and trust. 

CyberTIM 2018
Dr. Sheikh Mahbub Habib and Dr. Emmanouil Vasilomanolakis part of Prof. Max Mühlhäuser group, CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt, are workshop chairs of the „1st International Workshop on Cyber Threat Intelligence Management" (CyberTIM 2018)“. The aim of the CyberTIM-workshop is to bring together experts in the field of proactive, intelligent intrusion detection systems  and  to join forces against the probably numerically superior attackers. The workshop is organized by three EU-projects of the H2020 funding line, among others Proactive Risk Management (PROTECTIVE), in which Prof. Mühlhäuser's group is involved in. Both workshops take place 27. to 30. August in the course of ARES 2018 in Hamburg, Germany. Dr. Jörg Daubert, Dr. Sheikh Mahbub and Dr. Emmanouil Vasilomanolakis, all CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt,  are also in the program committee of ARES 2018.

As Full Research Paper publication Finally Johnny Can Encrypt. But Does This Make Him Feel More Secure?, written by Nina Gerber (KIT, Karlsruhe), Verena Zimmermann (TU Darmstadt), Birgit Henhapl (TU Darmstadt) , Sinem Emeröz (TU Darmstadt), Melanie Volkamer (KIT, Karlsruhe) is accepted.
