German-Israeli research cooperation on the cyber security of critical energy infrastructures
ATHENE and the Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure have established a joint research program to develop innovative security solutions for the increasingly vulnerable energy sector. The alliance focuses on the design of cyber resilient energy supply architectures, the implementation of cross-sector attack detection systems and the development of effective defence mechanisms against denial of service attacks, which can have particularly critical consequences in the energy sector.
