CRISP-Researcher represents TU-Darmstadt at BMBF-sponsored Medical-Informatics Project

Prof. Kay Hamacher of the Biology Department is involved in the HiGHmed-Project

CRISP-Member CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt is involved in the HiGHmed-Consortium as an academic project partner. The project is supported by a total of 30 million Euro within the context of the Medical-Informatics-Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The new funding concept is to strengthen medical research and to improve patient care.

Innovative IT solutions are to enable the future exchange and the intelligent use of data of medical care, clinical and biomedical research. Prof. Kay Hamacher of the Biology Department is involved in two projects regarding HiGHmed, which are concerned with privacy and visualization. Partners within the HiGHmed-Consortium are, among others, Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg, Hannover Medicla School and Deutsche Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ).
