CRISP scientist at Academic / Industry Round Table of Speaker Odyssey 2018
Discussion on deep learning and its impact on science and industry collaboration
Andreas Nautsch, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences discussed with five experts from research and industry during a panel discussion on Speaker Odyssey 2018 on "challenges & evaluations", "dynamics of the collaboration (role of Academia and Industry) ", "deep learning and its impact on how we collaborate "," the role of professional organizations / associations "and" collaboration depending on maturity of technology ".
Together with Andreas Natusch, researchers from the US National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Brno University of Technology and the University of East Finland represented the position of science. The industry was represented by Oxford Wave Research, ValidSoft, Voicetrust and Veridas. The Speaker Odyssey is the main conference on biometric speaker recognition and national language recognition.
In 2018, the conference took place from 26 to 29 June 2018 in Les Sables d'Olonne, France.
