Digital Democracy - Curse or Blessing?
Panel Discussion: Digitalisation - An End for Democracy ? with Dr. Michael Kreutzer, Fraunhofer SIT
The association Gegen Vergessen - Für Demokratie e.V. developed a series of events called "Digital Democracy - Curse or Blessing?" in cooperation with Jugendring Darmstadt e.V. and Darmstadt city of science and digitalisation. These events are aimed to inform interested members of the public about the varied assessments for the process of digitalisation. The topic will be shown in various formats to inform and stimulate further discussions about the chances and risk of digitalisation.
Dr. Michael Kreutzer, Fraunhfoer SIT is a participant of the panel discussion "Panel Discussion: Digitalisation - An End for Democracy ?"
Further participants are Dr. Aleksandra Sowa, author and publicist, as well as Jan Eggers, editor at Hessischer Rundfunk. The discussion will be led by Lars Oliver Hennemann, chief editor at Darmstädter Echo.
The event is organised by local working parties of the regional association Gegen Vergessen – Für Demokratie e.V. und Jugendring Darmstadt e.V.
The panel discussion takes place at "Das offene Haus", Rheinstraße 31, 64283 Darmstadt on 19th of September 2018 starting at 19:00.
