Scientist from Fraunhofer SIT talks about the topic"PDS2 - Strategic Approach and Technical Pitfalls"

The second extended Payment Services Directive of the EU goes into effect on January, 13, 2018. Banks must provide interfaces for third- party providers, in order to be able to view account data and initiate payments. The goal of the directive is to support innovation and competition and to lower the cost of financial transactions. This means many opportunities for banks, but has also left some questions open.

Kobil Systems is hosting a business breakfast where cybersecurity experts will discuss current challenges which evolve from the PDS2 directive and the new RTS (Regular Technical Standard) of the European Banking Authority. M. Rachid el Khayari from Fraunhofer SIT will hold a speech about strategic procedures and technical traps of the PSD2.
The business breakfast takes place on June, 30, 2017, in Paris.
