Researcher of TU Darmstadt lay out bait for hackers
Reports in hessenschau and ARD Nachtmagazin
With purposfully placed bait - so called Honeypots - researchers from the research group of Prof. Max Mühlhäuser, CYSEC [at] TU Darmstadt, set traps to attract hackers. Almost minute-by-minute attacs are registered. The reseachers receive countless information about cyber-attacs and develope defence strategies.
Cyber-attacs are incrasing constantly. According to Prof. Max Mühlhäuser nowadays we are talking about cyber soldiers as a fourth weapon of war in addition to the convetional categories of weapons, marine and air force.
