Speaker Odyssey 2018
Best Paper Award für CRISP-Wissenschaftler der Hochschule Darmstadt
CRISP scientists from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences were honored with one of three Best Paper Awards for their contribution and presentation on data protection in biometric speaker recognition at Speaker Odyssey 2018.
The scientists received the award for their work Homomorphic Encryption for Speaker Recognition: Protection of Biometric Templates and Vendor Model Parameters

The Speaker Odyssey 2018 is the top speaker and speech recognition conference. The jury announced three best paper awards, which evaluated the following criteria:
- novelty / contribution to the speaker community
- paper evaluation by its reviewers
- presentation quality
- discussion within the board and with colleagues during the break
The Speaker Odyssey 2018 took place from the 26th to the 29th of June 2018 in Les Sables d'Olonne, France.
